Santa and Mrs Claus have taken up temporary residence at Birmingham New Street Station this December, every Saturday and Sunday (with the obvious exception of 24 December, their busiest day) to greet young commuters as they travel through the city.

The festive duo, taking a break from their pre-Christmas prep, will be found under the Departure Boards with a friendly North Pole Express Train Conductor, ready to meet and greet young people and their families as well as having a special festive photograph taken – for free – with all those they meet.

The gifted printed photos will offer families a  festive moment with Santa and Mrs Claus courtesy of Network Rail, the event is produced by Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces (OPUS).

The meet and greet experience is free, running every Saturday and Sunday in the first 4 weeks of December – with the exception of Sunday 24 December – throughout each day. There will be 4 one hour meet and greets each day, first come first served, from 11.30am – 12.30pm; 1pm – 2pm; 2.30pm – 3.30pm; 4pm – 5pm.
