Shen Yun Performing Arts’ stated mission is to revive five millennia of civilisation. 

That’s no small order, but they nonetheless make a more-than-decent fist of it with their high-energy shows, taking the audience on a journey that brings together ‘exquisite’ beauty and ethnic traditions with ‘profound wisdom from dynasties past’.

Magical legends and heavenly realms are much in evidence too, as are impressive animated backdrops, exquisite costumes and a range of dance styles, from classical Chinese to ethnic and folk.
