A Celebration Of Swing

Get yourself down to the Old Joint Stock this July for an evening of crooning, class and a whole lot of brass!

The Old Joint Stock Theatre is delighted to announce That’s Life! Coming to it’s theatre this July. Settle in for an evening of silky vocals and stunning music as we celebrate the best songs of swing.

This vibrant evening will feature songs from all of the kings of swing, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davies Jr, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Michael Buble and more!

Crooning for you throughout the night will be long time friends Dom Hartley-Harris and James Edge

Dom Hartley-Harris is a West End star, originating the role of Jagwire in Bat Out of Hell, where he was then part of the original cast recording, Dom can also be heard performing as The Preacher in the West End cast recording of Bonnie and Clyde. Dom is currently completing his second run as George Washington in the global smash Hamilton.

James Edge is the theatre manager of the Old Joint Stock theatre and the founder of national stage page West End Best Friend. Prior to running The Old Joint Stock James was a musical theatre performer with notable credits including Rent, Ordinary Days and Thrill me.

Completing the line up on the keys is the incredibly talented Reis Taylor Dixon. With two albums to his name, Reis has experience performing across Europe and America as a solo-pianist and composer. While in Birmingham, Reis resides at The Grand Hotel, where he takes pleasure in performing music across many genres.
