The experience of watching hit 1990 festive family film Home Alone on a giant HD screen, while a live orchestra and choir perform its John Williams-composed score, has been bringing pleasure to Christmas audiences for a decade now. 
For those who’ve never seen the movie and would appreciate a heads-up, it tells the story of eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (played by Macaulay Culkin in his breakthrough role), who is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for a Christmas vacation. 
To make matters worse, Kevin finds himself having to defend the family home against two bungling burglars, brilliantly played by Daniel Stern and, at the height of his Goodfellas-inspired fame, the inimitable Joe Pesci...
