Making a long overdue return to Birmingham - it’s more than 30 years since their last visit - Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra of Tokyo present a concert of blockbusters including Akira Ifukube’s  Dance Of The Seven Veils and Rachmaninov’s Second Symphony. They’re joined by free-thinking violinist Christian Tetzlaff, who completes the programme with a performance of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto. Sebastian Weigle conducts.
