Horror fans, brace yourselves for a night of 80s nostalgia this Halloween.

Birmingham’s Millennium Point is marking the 40th anniversary of Freddy Krueger’s first appearance on our screens, featuring a brand-new introduction from Robert Englund (Freddy himself), recorded exclusively for this event. Right on the city’s biggest screen!

Released in 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street terrified audiences with its tale of teenagers hunted in their sleep by the sadistic Krueger, played by Englund. Over the years, Freddy has become a horror icon, starring in eight sequels, a TV show, and countless nightmares. To celebrate this milestone, Millennium Point is showing the original film in all its terrifying glory.

This one-night-only event will be an unforgettable experience for horror fans, and one they won’t want to miss out on. It’s a chance to see the film as it was meant to be seen — on the big screen. But be warned: it’s not for the faint of heart...

A Nightmare on Elm Street shows at Millennium Point on 26 October. Tickets are available here.
