With four cocktail bars in Birmingham taking top spots at last night’s Top 50 Cocktail Bars, the room was full of cheer for the West Midlands.

Couch at number 12 sits in the heart of Stirchley and is a proud neighbourhood establishment that serves some of the best cocktails without the pretence.

The Pineapple Club in the city centre is a cocktail bar and bottle shop serving and selling some of the best drinks in the city and is number 14 on this year’s list.

Next up is newcomer, Passing Fancies, which has only been open for a few months and came in as new entry at 32.

Another impressive new entry to the Birmingham bar scene is Fox & Chance at number 40 – this centrally located bar is a trip back in time with a great atmosphere and world class cocktails.
