The acclaimed Birmingham Royal Ballet will be hosting free Adult Beginners Taster Classes to coincide with the forthcoming Let’s Dance Day on Sunday 2 March.

The Adult Beginners Taster Classes, at BRB’s ballet studios in Thorp Street, Birmingham City Centre, offers adults with no prior ballet experience to join BRB and discover the joy of ballet in a friendly and supportive class.

The free classes, part of the UK wide Let’s Dance initiative founded by Angela Rippon CBE, is a national campaign to inspire everyone in the UK to embrace dance as a way to improve their health, connect with others, and have fun.

The Adult Beginners Taster Classes will provide an exciting opportunity for attendees to visit BRB’s ballet studios and take part in a live class with professional dance practitioner Rosie Price, BA Hons, MSc, CBTS (RTS RAD), who trained at Elmhurst Ballet School, Birmingham and Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Rosie will be accompanied on piano by Birmingham Conservatoire Graduate Ian Richards who has worked extensively as an opera répétiteur, vocal coach and directed many musicals.

Places for adults aged 18 or over are limited and are offered on a first come first served basis. For further information and to book please go to brb.org.uk
