Grand Designs Live, the UK’s leading home design and innovation exhibition, returns to NEC Birmingham for five days between 2-6 October 2024.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Grand Designs TV show, this year's event promises to be a landmark occasion filled with expert advice and endless inspiration.

The exhibition
This year's show will feature a huge variety of exhibitors spanning four sectors: build, kitchens and bathrooms, gardens, and interiors.

Show home – The Grand House
Get ideas and inspiration for your home, from the Grand House, the event's central show home. This year will see a luxurious barn style property, constructed, finished and landscaped by different brands, who will be on hand to give you the latest information about how you can create a similar look in your own home. Plus, the sustainability partner, Clivet, will advise on the best ways to retrofit your home to make it more eco friendly.

Live talks
Hear from industry experts across three theatres where an exciting and engaging lineup of speakers will take centre stage each day, including the main stage, a sustainability theatre and a home interiors hub. Talk topics include design and functionality in the kitchen, heat pump options for home heating and how to visualise and create your dream home interiors in 2024.

Free expert advice
Bring your plans, drawings, ideas and questions to discuss your build and renovation plans with specialists in architecture, construction, finance, design and more. Appointments can be booked in advance of the show with others being available to secure on a first come first serve basis on the day.

Kevins Green Heroes
Kevin McCloud selects his favourite eco innovations each year, giving them a chance to display their products and tell their story. This year will feature 13 Heroes, where you can see innovations including a lamp made from Pacific oyster shells and a compostable bowl made from discarded eggshells.

Outdoor Living Showcase
This dedicated area will feature top exterior furnishing brands presenting their products in a garden set up at the show.

NEW - Grand Designs turns 25
Find suppliers to the TV houses from over the 25 years of the iconic Channel 4 TV show showcasing their products in a brand new feature, plus hear from the homeowners themselves as they return to the show to talk on the stage about their fascinating projects from over the years.
