Music, dance, film, sport, and food are taking centre stage at 16 venues across Birmingham’s vibrant Irish Quarter for this year’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
A group of entertainment, hospitality, and night time economy businesses in the Deritend and Digbeth area of the city have joined forces to present a programme of events to mark Ireland’s national holiday on Monday 17 March.
10,000 copies of an A4 folded printed map which revellers can use as a guide to destinations are now available across participating venues.
With a large combined capacity in eateries, hostelries, and community spaces across the historic district, venue bosses expect to welcome thousands of revellers and families for the annual highlight in the city’s events calendar.
The Anchor, Autobrew, The Big Bull’s Head, Cleary’s, The Fountain, Hennessey’s, The Mockingbird Cinema and Bar, The Moseley Arms, The Night Owl, Nortons, The Old Crown, Redcorc, Sobremesa, The Rainbow Pub, The Ruin, and The White Swan - all situated in Birmingham’s Irish Quarter - will mark St Patrick’s Day with additional events and offers.
