You can now see the conservation of Birmingham Cathedral's four remarkable stained-glass windows up close, courtesy of a special Divine Beauty Scaffolding tour.
Four of the cathedral's Burne-Jones windows are currently undergoing historic conservation work to clean and repair them - ensuring they are preserved for future generations to enjoy.
Expert conservators from Holy Well Glass will complete most of the work onsite and are inviting visitors to see what their work involves.
Weekday tours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays offer the chance to meet with conservators, while Saturday tours will be guide-led and provide more general information on the project and progress.
Tours last a maximum of half an hour and include a safety briefing.
As the tours take place during live conservation work, it can't be guaranteed what stage of the work you will see. Organisers will endeavor to keep dates and times as advertised but these may need to be amended from time to time.
