B:Music, the Birmingham music charity responsible for Symphony Hall and Town Hall, has launched its new summer programme for 2025 which includes comedy, live music, dance and spoken word on its  two world-famous stages.

The new season showcases an array of performances at Town Hall and Symphony Hall. From 16-times world darts champion Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor to Persian comedy powerhouse Omid Djalili, May sees a varied and exciting programme. There is plenty of live music to choose from, with global household name Aled Jones, and five-time Grammy winner Robert Cray- one of the greatest guitarists of his generation- gracing the Town Hall stage in June. And July sees Strictly Come Dancing favourites Dianne and Vito perform their show Red Hot and Ready, as well as a live edition of the hugely popular international podcast The Grade Cricketer featuring cricketing legend Jimmy Anderson.

Dazzled by dance? A Night to Remember is the brand-new show from Strictly favourites Aljaz Škorjanec and Janette Manrara (23 May). It promises to be a night of unforgettable dancing, great music, and plenty of laughter. If you can’t get enough Strictly stars, then Oti Mabuse brings the party to Birmingham with her show Viva Carvival (20 June). The queen of the tango- Strictly legend Flavia Cacace- joins forces with Oti as a special guest star in a powerhouse performance you won't want to miss (20 June).

And a dynamic new dance show with a difference, Red Hot and Ready, brings together Strictly stars Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola, with their incredible ability to deliver show-stopping performances (4 July). They are joined by a cast of multi-disciplined dancers from around the world, as well as sensational vocalists and a live band.

And the nation’s favourite double act Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice are back with their brand new live show Together Again (28 July). Anton and Giovanni will bring more fun, more dance, more song, and even more entertainment than ever before. With a collection of breath-taking routines, stunning choreography, and a seamless blend of ballroom, Latin, and musical theatre, it's guaranteed to be an unforgettable show.

Crazy for comedy? B:Music is providing the laughs this Summer with a plethora of comedy A-listers to choose from. Stand-up stars including Omid Djalili: Namaste (16 May), Zakir Khan (18 May – this show will be performed in Hindi), Al Murray: Guv Island (22 May), Ellie Taylor: Palvering (24 May), Rhys Darby: The Legend Returns (5 June), and Tim Minchin: Songs the World Will Never Hear (9 June, 9-10 July) will take to the Town Hall and Symphony Hall stages for the ultimate feelgood night out.

Love live music? Join Mnozil Brass as they celebrate their 30 th anniversary with a gig at Symphony Hall (28 June). It's been 30 years since a few cheeky music students with philharmonic ambitions gave in to the temptations of tavern music at the Gasthaus Mnozil in Vienna and took the path into the entertainment business. They are now once again setting off for new shores and presenting the ultimate sheet metal birthday in the form of an anniversary show. B:Music is delighted to host the Vitamin String Quartet, the celebrated classical crossover ensemble, when they come to Town Hall (21 May). This highly anticipated show, titled Vitamin String Quartet: The Music of Taylor Swift, Bridgerton, and Beyond, will showcase the unique style that has captivated listeners worldwide. Known for their innovative adaptations of popular music, the Vitamin String Quartet promises an unforgettable night blending the beauty of classical instruments with the vibrancy of modern hits.

Join the Novello Orchestra for the Marvel Studios’ Infinity Saga Concert Experience (5 June) and embark on a thrilling and unprecedented live concert journey. Audience members will revisit the earliest days of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor as they discover their place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, each accompanied by their own unforgettable heroic music and visuals on the big screen.

Looking for family fun? Experience the magic of The Wiggles in an interactive and engaging live show experience which promises to spark creativity, curiosity and a love of learning through The Wiggles’ signature mix of entertainment and education (14 May). Or bring the little ones to Town Hall to experience the brand-new live stage show Bing’s Birthday (14-15 June). Join Bing and his friends Sula, Pando, Coco, Amma and of course Flop as they get ready to celebrate his special day. Things won't always go to plan but, with the guidance of Flop and his friends, Bing has a birthday he won't ever forget.

Looking to learn? B:Music is bringing some world-class speakers with plenty of tales to its stages. Join Pez, Higgo and a very special guest- cricketing legend Jimmy Anderson- as the hugely popular, international podcast The Grade Cricketer returns to England with their biggest live shows to date (3 July). Fresh from sold-out tours of Australia, India and the UK, as well as a New York Broadway show, this tour will be The Grade Cricketer’s most ambitious live shows to-date. Or join ADHD speaker, coach, former TV and radio presenter, and late diagnosed ADHDer Hester Grainger, live on the road at Town Hall, for an evening of conversation, laughter and a refreshingly honest look at life with her show, ADHD Unmasked (22 May).

Other highlights of the Summer 2024 season include Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox live on the Symphony Hall stage, where today’s chart-topping hits are reimagined through the golden sounds of 1920s jazz, swing, doo-wop, and Motown (12 May). The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra closes the B:Classical 2024/25 season at Symphony Hall with a programme including Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, which creates a thrilling and impactful climax to a concert full of exciting and popular music (15 May).

And Primary School Assembly Bangers Live! allows you to step back in time for singalong tunes to take you back to your Primary School days. You won’t have to sit cross legged on the school hall floor, but you will be encouraged to sing along! As well as assembly bangers, there will be other musical surprises, throwback mashups and comic reflections on growing up in the 90s (10 June).
