The family-run farm and festival group have announced plans for a two day festival on 3-4 May, as a celebration of British farming, culture, and local produce.

The event will be the farms first of five festivals in 2025, and marks the beginning of a partnership with Hawkstone Brewery.

Fields to Fork is set on the 50 acre Whitebottom Farm in the village of Compstall, near Stockport, and is the creation of the Hancock family, Karl, Jan, & Laura. Whitebottom Farm is in its twelfth year of hosting boutique festival events, a result of having to diversify the farms from its commercial cattle primary usage.

Laura said: “My Dad’s passion for farming has always been a huge part of my life and with Fields to Fork we can celebrate that with the community for a weekend of great food, drink, conversation, and live music.

To be able to do this with a brand as closely connected to farming as Hawkstone makes it even more special. We’ve got some huge plans in place to make this one of the best weekends to celebrate British farming.”

The festival continues Whitebottom’s form of celebrating the best in British produce. The house spirits are made by an award winning distillery in Yorkshire, whilst the gourmet burgers are a direct product of the farms Angus Aberdeen Cattle. Additional food at Fields to Fork will be from two Michelin starred chef Aktar Islams brand ‘Aktar at Home’ and local vendors championing British ingredients.

Fields to Fork will also be in collaboration with Blok Knives who will be hosting a demo stage featuring Michelin-starred chefs and experts, showcasing the best of British ingredients. Blok will also assist with a unique tasting kitchen from an elevated position on the farm, where diners can expect a one-off tasting menu that showcases the UK’s finest produce. A full line-up, including Masterchef The Professionals champion Stuart Deeley, will be announced over the coming months.

Karl Hancock said: “When I came to live at the farm with my Uncle Ken & Auntie Marion, never did I expect that we would pivot to the position of putting on a festival like this. Farmers haven’t had it easy of late and this is our way of showing appreciation and love to the agricultural community. We hope that the festival program will not just appeal to farmers, but those who love the best of British produce and want to come and enjoy a great time over the bank holiday. Myself, Laura, and her fiance Alex have worked tirelessly to make this another amazing event at Whitebottom Farm”.

Ticket prices start at £40 for the weekend and can be purchased now from fieldstoforkfestival.co.uk
