The Uffculme Centre is one of the Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust's administrative bases, and also offers conference and training facilities. Built in 1891 by the Cadbury's as a family home.

Uffculme was donated to the city in 1916 for the furthering of psychiatric health services. Following extensive refurbishment, Uffculme is now one of the region’s best training and conference venues. Primarily for the development of Trust staff and students, its facilities and services are also available to the corporate and voluntary sectors at very competitive rates. During Uffculme’s restoration the staff worked hard to maintain much of its original character and features, while integrating state of the art technological facilities.
