This weekend, in Telford, Britain's best gymnasts will participate in an exhilarating competition as they compete for the 2024 British Champion titles at the 2024 Trampoline, Tumbling, and DMT British Championships.
Inspired by the Olympics? It promises to be a thrilling talent showcase, featuring legendary competitors and promising rising stars across all age groups, including 2024 Olympians Bryony Page and Zak Perzamanos.
We caught up with Bryony who said: “Trampolining is such an exciting sport where athletes jump at incredible heights performing extraordinary skills, striving to perform their routine as close to perfection as possible. It’s the accumulation of years of training for one moment on the trampoline.
"When I first started competing, I loved watching the men’s and women’s competitions. I didn’t know the skills they were doing, I hadn’t learned them yet, I hadn’t seen them yet, so it was really exciting to see people perform them and perform them so well that I wanted to be up there with them, I wanted to compete and I was in awe.
"I love seeing the crowd, I often see competitions as performances, and having a crowd helps me, especially a home crowd with lots of support. I look forward to seeing everyone in Telford, this weekend."
Trampoline, Tumbling, and DMT British Championships takes place at Telford International Centre from 5-6 October. Tickets are available here.
