Thai street food lovers rejoice as Shrewsbury restaurant House of Yum will be opening permanently for evening dining at their second venue in Mardol.

Until now, the wildly popular, family-owned eatery have opened for lunchtime trade only at four time Britain's Favourite Market winners, The Market Hall Shrewsbury.

Offering authentic Thai dishes (think chicken satay, Tom Yum, Laab Gai and spring rolls to start; and a range of red, green, Panang and Massaman curries, plus rice and noodle dishes, for main), to say the news has been gratefully received would be an understatement.

House of Yum announced: "The rumours are true! As so many of our lovely customers have requested for the longest time, we are excited to announce our second and new location, House of Yum at Mardol. Your prayers have been answered. We'll be opening in the evenings, serving up all your faves and we will be taking reservations. Don't worry, we aren't leaving the market. You can still get your lunchtime fix in our OG spot inside the lovely Market Hall Shrewsbury."
