This summer, celebrate all the things that made the Black Country famous - from its manufacturing heritage to the stories of iconic people who made their mark on the important region.

Explore the Museum’s 26-acre site full of historic shops and houses and discover the objects and tales that gave the Black Country its unique personality.

Meet new historic characters, including Gwen Lally - the famous Pageant master; Francis Brett-Young - the 1940s sell-out novelist, and get ready to swing a racket with 1930s tennis ace, Dorothy Round.

Not forgetting, you can enjoy all the Museum’s usual favourites! Grab a portion of famous fish and chips, take part in an Edwardian school lesson, or test your skills at the fairground stalls. From rides on vintage transport to trying your hand at some traditional street games, there’s something for everyone.

Plus, on Fridays throughout the Summer, the museum has extended its opening hours to 8pm to give you more time to explore 300 years of Black Country history. Use your UnChained pass or book your ticket for just £5 after 4pm!
