SY.Gigs has announced the launch of its eagerly awaited Season 3.0: Nothing is Ordinary, showcasing an exceptional lineup of international and UK artists across carefully curated events.
Following the success of previous seasons, the upcoming calendar reflects a return to the manageable format of Season 1.0, with seven events running from January to November 2025. SY.Gigs founder Chris Taylor shared: “Hosting 11 events last year was rewarding but overwhelming. This season, I’ve focused on creating fewer but equally impactful events, maintaining the same commitment to quality and diversity.”
Confirmed highlights of Season 3.0 announced so far:
Voyage of the Beagle by John Biddulph + Ashia Vaughan | 28 February
A captivating auditory journey inspired by Charles Darwin’s iconic text. This performance, part of the Darwin Festival, blends atmospheric compositions and world music influences to transport audiences through Darwin’s transformative voyage.
An Exploration of Harp & Piano – Marysia Osu & Hanakiv | 29 March
In celebration of International Piano Day, SY.Gigs will host two exceptional female artists. Polish-born harpist and pianist Marysia Osu and Estonian ambient composer Hanakiv will deliver a unique blend of classical, ambient, and electronic music.
Movement in Sound Tengger & Seaming To | 7 June
SY.Gigs here presents an extraordinary evening of music and exploration. Bringing together the Pan-Asian, New-Age drone psychedelic band Tengger and the avant-garde multi-instrumentalist and experimentalist Seaming To, this event promises to push the boundaries of sound and experience. Hosted at the stunning St Alkmund’s Church, this is the first of two unmissable summer concerts where movement, sound, and creativity come together to prove that nothing is ordinary.
In addition to the stellar lineup, SY.Gigs is enhancing accessibility and affordability with physical tickets available at local retailers Glou Glou on Castle Street and Petit Glou Glou in the Market Hall, avoiding Skiddle booking fees. Early bird tickets, which sold out for Event 1.0, offered savings consistent with Season 2.0 pricing.
