Top Glasgow indie rockers, The Fratellis, have been announced to headline the Saturday of Shrewsbury's Heal Festival.
Receiving the Best Festival award at the Shropshire Music Awards, Heal will feature multiple stages and arenas, activities for all age groups, fairground attractions, games, streetfood, unique music zones, such as the electric meadow and Caribbean inspired Jam:down, and a wellness village. In addition to music, free wellbeing demos and children's activities will also take place throughout the weekend.
The Fratellis, who's debut album has gone 4 x platinum exploded onto the scene with seminal hits, such as Chelsea Dagger which helped define a generation of band lovers. Famed for their high energy sets, they will be joined on stage by an extended band to give an extra special performance.
Other acts announced so far for some of the other stages include drum and bass legend DJ Hazard, and Phil Hartnoll of Orbital – performing an Orbital DJ set. Again, Orbital helped define a generation of dance music with seminal hits such as Chime, Belfast and Halcyon.
