The Square is at the heart of Shrewsbury and is home to The Old Market Hall cinema and café bar, one of the UK’s smallest and most historic cinemas. The entrance to Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery is also on The Square, situated in the Old Music Hall.

Made in Shropshire is a showcase of beautiful artwork, handmade crafts and artisan foods from artists, designer-makers and food producers who live and work in Shropshire. This market usually takes place on the 2nd Saturday of the month but check the Shrewsbury Square Events Calendar for details.

Shrewsbury Farmers Market offers a wide range of high quality local food and drink and usually takes place on the 1st Friday of the month but again, it’s best to double check the dates if you’re making a special trip.
