The Brewhouse in Burton upon Trent has announced a new season of live theatre, music, comedy and workshops for 2025.
Running through to July, the season sees a packed line up of performances and activities for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Highlights include an evening with actor and comedian Joe Thomas on 6 March. Celebrating 17 years since The Inbetweeners debuted, Joe, known for his role as Simon Cooper, will discuss the hit series and take questions from the audience.
Fans of musical tribute acts have plenty to choose from in February with ELO Encounter booked for 8 March, Buddy Holly’s Winter Dance Party on the 14 March and Legends of Motown on the 28 March.
ABBA fans won’t want to miss Sensation: ABBA Tribute Band on 11 April and the Searchers and Hollies Experience are at the venue on 12 April.
Great music acts also feature into the summer with prog rock Gryphon live on stage on 20 June, multi award winning UK Country singer, Mark Hills, together with his band Wrecking Ball presenting the Nashville Sounds Experience on 21 June and folk rock band Home Service touring their new album. A New Transmission on 23 July.
Families wanting school holiday fun can book tickets to see the pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk from 18 - 22 February and the Great Baldini family magic show on 16 April, and You Choose on 27 - 28 May, an interactive musical adventure where every show is unique.
Comedy continues to feature strongly on the bill, with regular Comedy Club night Brewhouse-Ha-Ha Comedy returning on 7 February and 2 May with performances from top comedians touring the circuit today.
Plus, there’ll be the usual great range of workshops for adults like Rebalance and the Art Café, and our younger guests can enjoy Upbeat, Art Club and Youth Dance.
The Brewhouse will also welcome back an extensive range of local amateur performances, including the Little Theatre Company with Little Shop of Horrors, Burton and South Derbyshire College with Shrek the Musical, and Stage Screen with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
