Newcastle-under-Lyme Town Centre has welcomed a new addition for the summer with the introduction of a brand new ‘pop-up park’ on Red Lion Square.

The green space provides shoppers with a relaxing and inviting atmosphere to enjoy quality time with friends and family, and is one of a number of initiatives launched by Newcastle-under-Lyme BID designed to create a welcoming and forward thinking town for the whole community.

The space will also be home to a programme of free workshops during the summer holidays to foster creativity and playfulness amongst children.  With a range of curated themed days taking place on Tuesdays and Fridays, themes such as  Around the World, Keep Fit and Circus will play host to collaborations with local creatives and organisations such as illustrator Chloe Breeze, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, storyteller Alan Barrett with further opportunities to meet exotic and small animals.
