Following a ten-week art sculpture trail around Lichfield, Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield, the March of the Elephants' sculptures, both big and small, will be auctioned off at Lichfield Cathedral on Tuesday 24th September.
Hosted by Richard Winterton Auctioneers, this is your chance to own one of the elephant sculptures, whether in person, or from the virtual live-stream at home.
All 30 large elephants, plus 4 of the mini herd, 2 blank mini sculptures and the book bench, will go under the hammer, while the remaining herd will return to the schools and community groups who decorated them, as a lasting legacy of the trail.
The reserve price for each large elephant sculpture starts at £3,000, with all money raised at auction going to St Giles Hospice.
As a registered charity, St Giles Hospice relies heavily on donations and income generation from the local community to continue its vital care services.
The March of the Elephants auction event takes place at Lichfield Cathedral on Tuesday 24 September from 6.45pm until late, register your interest here.
