The Potteries Centre has unveiled a selection of fun, free family activities this summer, all themed around leading a healthy lifestyle and staying active.
This year’s activities come courtesy of Staffordshire’s leading provider of school holiday sports clubs, Bee Active, the drop-in sessions run from 10am to 2pm every Friday from the 29th July until the 2nd September.
Following the unveiling of its indoor beach, the six-week-long programme of events starts this Friday with an archery activity in the former Virgin Holidays unit on the upper mall, just along from Footasylum, followed the week after by an obstacle course next to H&M on the 5th August.
On 12th August, families can take part in a centre-wide Treasure Hunt where they are tasked with finding hidden items around the centre. Meanwhile, on the 19th August, aspiring athletes can put their sporting prowess to the test in Commonwealth themed open-space sports activities.
On 26th August, visitors can join in with target sports practice and, drawing the summer to a close on the 2nd September, families will be able to hone their circus skills!
