Cannock Chase Visitor Centre is a family friendly Visitor Centre and Cafe at Marquis Drive and is a great starting point for taking on any of the self-guided walking and cycling trails.
The little shop sells maps and souvenirs and there are toilets including disabled provision. There are a good variety of trails, with something for everyone, including routes specifically designed for people with disabilities. Pleasingly there are electric scooters freely available for people with mobility problems, so if you plan ahead even nanny can come along and you'll have to keep up with her for a change!
You can bring the family pooch too, so no one is left out. You can find a cool adventure playground with features suited from toddlers up to around 10 years, though there are no strict limits. Near to this there are picnic sites and BBQs, plus a bird watching area and a reconstructed Great War Hut, though be warned this has very limited opening.
An inspiring range of group walks and fitness events across the County are run seasonally here too. You can get all the information on each of the events in a free leaflet from Cannock Chase Visitor Centre, so why not put some big walks on the calendar to look forward to!
