Explore the treasures of Coventry Archives via a guided behind-the-scenes tour. 

As well as being provided with an overview of the collections and resources, visitors will also get the chance to see some of the more exclusive and precious items in the museum’s historic collections.

 

Free Drop In events take place during the weekend, between Friday 7 and Sunday 15 September:

  • Treasures of the Archives (Saturday 7 September 2024 | 11.00am - 12pm & 1pm - 2pm) Explore the treasures of Coventry Archives with a guided behind the scenes tour.
  • Highlights Taster Tour (Saturday 7 & Saturday 14 September, Sunday 8 & Sunday 15 September - various times available) Explore the history of the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum & its current exhibitions.
  • Undercroft Tour (Saturday 7 & Saturday 14 September, Sunday 8 & Sunday 15 September - various times available) Enjoy a short tour of the venue's marvellous medieval undercroft.
  • Meet the Conservators (Friday 13 September & Saturday 14 September 2024 | 2pm - 4pm) Join the Herbert’s knowledgeable Conservators in action as they examine, clean and care for objects from the Museum, and Archive collections.
