Coventry’s landlocked landlubbers are in for a treat when Bristolian three-piece The Longest Johns visit the foreign shores of the West Midlands on the first of the month.
Having met and bonded over sea shanties across a kitchen table more than a decade ago, the fellas have since been sailing the seven seas in the name of ‘the rock & roll of 1752’... They’re joined for this Warwick Arts Centre gig by Barcelona folk favourites El Pony Pisador, whose musical influences include Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys and The Dubliners.
