Soak up the last of summer and experience the magic of cinema under the stars as The Luna Cinema, along with headline partners Little Moons, returns to Warwick Castle from 16-18 September with three nights of open-air cinema.
A star venue in the 2022 Luna summer season (which consists of more than 150 screenings in more than 40 jaw-dropping locations across the nation) Warwick Castle makes for a truly unique backdrop to a movie, with the big screen flanked by the medieval fortress amidst the beautifully landscaped grounds.
The programme features a line-up of both classic and new film favourites – back on the big screen as originally intended. Screenings include the romantic dance classic Dirty Dancing, action packed adventure Spiderman: No Way Home, and Oscar-winning West Side Story.
Visitors can cosy up with their plus-one for the evening on Luna’s brand-new Date Night Double Deckchair or upgrade their general admission ticket by hiring a Director’s Chair for the evening. For the ultimate VIP experience guests can opt for the Luna Luxe Sofa, which offers two people the chance to watch the film from luxury sofa seating with blankets, heaters, and a bottle of bubbly.
A variety of delicious food partners will be present at all screenings, as well as a full bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including BrewDog beer, Bathtub Gin, sparkling wine, cocktails, Lyre’s Non-alcoholic Spirits and more.
A number of tasty movie snack options are also available for pre-order, including Little Moon’s delicious bite sized mochi balls – the perfect treat for a summers’ evening! Audiences are welcome to dig out their hampers and pack a picnic of their own for their movie night (though the bringing of alcohol to the events is restricted).
The Luna Cinema is also running events at Ragley Hall. Elvis is showing on Tuesday 13 September; Bohemian Rhapsody is showing on Wednesday 14 September; and Grease is showing on Thursday 15 September. Tickets are on sale here.
