Warwick’s internationally renowned Orchestra of the Swan brings its captivating and contemplative Entranced by Candlelight concert to the stunning surroundings of St Mary’s, Warwick on Thursday, 6 March at 7.30pm.

Entranced by Candlelight features breathtaking, immersive soundscapes by Pink Floyd, Philip Glass, The Orb, David Bowie, Brian Eno, Erik Satie and J.S.Bach, and there will be a special guest appearance by Eurovision singer, SuRie. 

St Mary’s will be bathed in candlelight and enhanced with atmospheric lighting, creating a beautiful, immersive experience. 

The Orchestra recently performed Entranced at Holy Trinity, Stratford-upon-Avon to great acclaim:

Orchestra of the Swan’s Artistic Director, David Le Page says: "Entranced reconnects us with the radical mystery that lies at the heart of music and its deep connection with notions of ritual, healing, ecstasy and revelation."

Under the direction of David Le Page, Orchestra of the Swan is renowned for its unconventional programming, groundbreaking digital concerts, and blurring the lines between musical genres. The orchestra works with outstanding collaborators and international soloists, melding their unique orchestral sound with folk, jazz and world music to make ‘orchestral’ music more accessible. 

The Swan has been in the Top 40 Classical Charts with their last five albums, was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2022, and enjoys a 14 million global audio streaming audience. Since moving to its new home on the Warwick Schools Foundation campus on the Myton Road, The Swan has featured on Classic FM, BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme, BBC Radio 3, Times Radio, and Cerys Matthew’s BBC Radio 6 Music Show.
