VisitEngland has today announced Pete Chambers from the Coventry Music Museum is the winner of its Tourism Superstar 2024 competition.

Pete, a volunteer and the museum’s director and curator, secured the highest number of votes from the public and takes the crown from last years’ winner Geoff Colvin.

"I'm absolutely delighted to be Tourism Superstar 2024, it makes all the hard work so worthwhile, although I love what I do.

"A massive thanks to all the amazing people who took the time to vote for me, it means so much.

"Thanks to our volunteers and visitors and to Laura MacDonald who nominated me. Now let's get The Specials on that turntable and dance to some Ska".
