Leading conservation charity Twycross Zoo is marking Armed Forces Day (Saturday 25th June) with an exclusive special offer for the military community.

Until Sunday 26 June, all Armed Forces personnel can enjoy free entry to the Zoo, and have the chance to discover more than 400 animals from over 80 different species across the 100-acre site.

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community - from serving troops to veterans, reservists, cadets and Service families. Celebrations begin on Monday 20th June when the Armed Forces Day flag is raised on buildings and famous landmarks around the country.

As a conservation charity, Twycross Zoo’s primary purpose is to preserve and protect the species with whom we share our planet. It is renowned as the only Zoo in the UK, and one of only four worldwide, to house all four great apes - gorilla, orang utan, chimpanzee and bonobo.
