Everyone’s favourite characters from the Ice Age will descend on the city next month, when Ice Age: The Lost Kingdom comes to Birmingham Botanical Gardens. The first touring animatronic Ice Age experience in Europe, this family spectacular will take place from 6-28 April 2019 – and tickets are on sale now.
Making its debut in Birmingham, this prehistoric show will bring the sights and sounds of the Ice Age to life, with 40 majestic beasts on display. Entertaining and educational, Ice Age: The Lost Kingdom will let you wander amongst woolly mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers, giant sloths and a host of creatures that roamed the earth over 70,000 years ago.
Fun for all the family, this three-week show is being brought to the city by the team behind Magical Lantern Festival, which returned to Birmingham for the third consecutive year last Christmas. Birmingham Botanical Gardens will be the first stop in the tour, before heading to London, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham and Leeds.
Whilst journeying through the magical woodland at Birmingham Botanical Gardens, Ice Age fans will explore the 40 prehistoric creatures, whilst enjoying a selection of street food. There will also be a mini cinema marquee showing an educational Ice Age documentary, a fossil excavation pit for kids to unearth skeletons, and merchandise to take a slice of the prehistoric era home with them.
What's On are offering you the chance to win a family ticket to Ice Age: Lost Kingdom at Birmingham Botanical Gardens from 6-28 April.
Competition closes Monday 15th April.
