When single mother Peggy Hodgson contacted police in the summer of 1977 to claim that she and her daughters were experiencing paranormal activity in their council house in Enfield, she kickstarted a news story which, almost half a century later, continues to capture the imagination.
This new presentation follows the fortunes of troubled characters - thrown together within the walls of the supposedly haunted house - who must not only solve the mystery of the poltergeist but also come to terms with their own tragic pasts...
