Newhampton Arts Centre will host a special under canvas film screening of True Romance in their New Horizons outdoor performance space next month.

Last year, the venue hosted the hugely successful Pulp Fiction film dining experience as part of their summer outdoor programme.

Taking place on Friday 16th September at 7.30pm, NAC is offering Wolverhampton audiences the chance to see the Tony Scott film, True Romance on the big screen with a special themed dining experience, featuring themed food from No 5 Catering & The Arts Café.

Starring Christian Slater & Patricia Arquette, the film starts with Clarence, who isn't that good with women - he doesn't get out much. He works in a comic store, thinks a Sonny Chiba triple bill is appropriate for date night, and has a pretty unhealthy relationship with Elvis. So when he meets the beautiful Alabama at the movies and the two click, he's in love - who cares if she's been paid to pick him up? The pair marry the next day and unexpectedly find themselves in possession of a suitcase of mob-owned coke after a violent confrontation between Clarence and Alabama's former pimp. Seizing the opportunity to start a new life together, they head to LA to unload the drugs onto a high profile movie producer, but both sides of the law have other ideas..

Cinema goers can enjoy a gourmet burger, fondue fries and dessert (with vegetarian options also available) all included in the ticket price whilst watching the cult classic. Refreshments will also available throughout the night.

The audience will be seated under canvas so rain or shine the event can still go ahead, toilet facilities will be nearby including those for people with disabilities.

Tickets cost £17 and can be purchased through the Newhampton Arts Centre website newhamptonarts.co.uk or by phone on 01902 572090.
