A theatre festival event for the whole family will take place at Wolverhampton's Newhampton Arts Centre this August.
Antics Family Theatre Festival is a fun day out that will be taking place outside and under canvas in the arts centre’s New Horizons performance area on Sunday 14th August,
Visitors can expect a full day of theatre shows including comedy, puppets, and lots of mischief from the likes of Talking Birds, The Fabularium, Rhubarb Theatre & Circus Berzercus and compered by Dreadlock Alien.
There will also be series of free children’s creative workshops running throughout the day to help keep the whole family busy and entertained.
The day will run in two sessions, a morning festival session at 11am or afternoon at 2.30pm with the same acts and workshops repeated so which ever session you choose you won’t miss out on a thing. And don’t worry if anyone starts to feel peckish, Wolverhampton’s very own Arts Centre Café will be on hand with their festival food.
The event is completely free but as sessions are limited, Newhampton Arts Centre requires a deposit of £2 per person or £5 family ticket which will be completely redeemable for drinks. You can book your session here.
