People across Wolverhampton can kickstart the Easter holidays with a colourful blast by taking part in Beacon’s Family Fun Colour Run.
The sight loss charity will be hosting the 5K event at Wolverhampton’s East Park on Sunday 3rd April.
As participants make their way around the route there will be four stations full of colourful surprises and they’ll even be a colour blast party to celebrate the end of the run.
The event is suitable for all ages and it doesn’t matter if someone runs, walks or even jumps their way around, the most important thing is that they have some fun.
The Colour Run has been organised by the Beacon Centre, which also runs Wolverhampton’s popular Santa Run, to support people with sight loss living locally.
All proceeds will help support the charity’s work and tickets are £5 for children, £8 for running club members and £10 for adults.
Beacon’s Supporter Engagement Manager Sophie Higgins said: “We’re so excited to be hosting our first Colour Run, it really will be the most fun you’ll ever have on a run!
“We’re hoping as many people as possible will join us at East Park to help bring a blast of colour to Wolverhampton.”
