The challenge takes place over the weekend of 3 and 4 August. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting your artistic journey, this is your chance to capture the essence of Wolverhampton in just 24 hours.

Artists and photographers of all ages and abilities are invited to participate, given the challenge to capture a scene within a three-mile radius of the Newhampton Arts Centre, using any visual art form including drawing, painting, and photography.

Early adult registration (until 31 July) is set at £6, student registration: £5 and a family ticket at £12.

Following the challenge, a free public exhibition will be held at the NAC’s Gallery Hall from 5 - 12 August from 11am to 4pm, where attendees can bid on original pieces from the event and  vote for their favourite artwork.

Prizes awarded in various categories: painting, drawing, photography, and a special public vote prize.
