The popular annual "Seaside in the City" returns to Wolverhampton City Centre from Friday 23 - Sunday 25 August 2024, with Victoria Street and Bell Square transformed into a sprawling street beach.

The three-day event promises to bring all the joys of the seaside right to the city centre, with golden sand, deckchairs, and the sound of gulls & waves, families can revel in the beach atmosphere without leaving Wolverhampton.

Both Friday and Saturday will be packed with a variety of free activities designed to entertain visitors of all ages. Children and adults alike can partake in traditional seaside games, watch the ever-popular Punch & Judy shows, and try their hand at circus skills workshops.

Whilst Sunday 25 will be a more relaxed affair, with the opportunity to laze in a deckchair, close your eyes and enjoy the sound of the waves crash and the gulls overhead while the kids play in the sand.
