The Glassworks pub in Stourbridge is set to undergo a major refurbishment, investing over £290k to refresh the much loved, community pub.

Upon reopening, The Glassworks will have a newly created bar-area. Locals can pop-in for a pint and a bite to eat, and to celebrate unmissable moments in the heart of the community. Complete with 4k big-screen TVs, Sky Sports and TNT.

There will also be a new dedicated ‘family lounge’, with everything designed around families’ needs and where everyone can feel they belong. A new food menu featuring pub classics and perfectly baked pizzas will launch, alongside the extremely popular kids’ menu; with little servings of pub favourites for Over 5s and a ‘build-your-own’ option for Under 5s.

The shared good times for everyone continue, as the pub will continue to serve its popular traditional Sunday Roast, with guests able to choose between roast beef, turkey or chicken, complete with fluffy mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, and gravy.

General Manager John Griffiths said, “We’re incredibly excited to announce the refurbishment of The Glassworks, to welcome our community; whatever the occasion. There will truly be something for everyone, whether it’s a quick drink at the bar, a place to watch this year’s biggest sporting events or for spending quality time over a family meal!”

The Glassworks closed for refurbishment on Monday 13 January and is set to reopen on Tuesday 6 February.
