The New Art Gallery Walsall will once again hold community celebrations for Diwali this November.
Taking place on Saturday 2 November between 12pm-4pm, the day is free to attend and has a full itinerary the whole family can enjoy.
Peter Chand, one of Europe’s most renowned storytellers, will be telling captivating stories from the Indian subcontinent, Bollywood Dream Dance, the largest Bollywood Dance company in the West Midlands ,will be at the gallery for a series of performances as well as mini workshops, and throughout the day, local artist Daya Bhatti will be providing drop-in lamp-making workshops with all ages.
Music will be provided by Manpaal Singh, jori player and harmonist, there will be Mehndi with Mrs Bedi and food from Hargun Sweet Centre.
