The Robin are raising awareness and vital funds this April for both, children fleeing Ukraine and individuals who struggle with mental health.

The Robin, situated in the heart of Bilston, have announced that they will be helping to raise funds in aid at Unicef and for Mental Health UK at two of their upcoming events in April.

On Saturday 16th April, The Robin hosts an evening with ‘Kick up the 80’s’, a showcase performance which celebrates all those legendary tracks we love to dance the night away to. The Robin shall be donating all their profits from ticket sales to Unicef, who are currently working tirelessly giving aid to the 7.5 million children who are at risk in war torn Ukraine.

Whilst on Friday 22nd April, The Robin will then be hosting its second charitable night of the month, ‘Its Ok To Not Be Ok Show’. This show, which has Tom Bates perform as Eminem and Liam Hulmes as Ed Sheeran, aims to raise critical funds for Mental Health UK. The London based charity help to generate awareness and give a voice to those suffering with Mental Health.

“I think it is very important to give back to the community by showing acts of kindness like this and if this gesture makes a difference to the world, then I am all for it,” says Fraser Tranter, Director at The Robin. “Mental Health is a significant problem that effects a huge amount of us in our everyday lives and, more needs to be done to tackle this.  I also feel very strongly about helping the families trying to flee Ukraine.”
