As part of the Kabaddi World Cup 2025 celebrations, Wolverhampton Art Gallery is inviting families to a weekend of free arts and cultural activities on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 March.

This special event will feature a range of creative workshops inspired by South Asian traditions, including:

Saturday 15 March

• South Asian drumming workshop presented by the Sonia Sabri Company – 10:45am, 11:45am, 1:30pm

• Rangoli workshop presented by the Jaivant Patel Company – 10:45am, 11:30am, 1:00pm

Sunday 16 March

• South Asian drumming workshop presented by the Sonia Sabri Company – 11:30am and 1:00pm

• World Cup flags and banners art workshop – 11:30am and 1:00pm

Alongside these interactive sessions, visitors can also explore a South Asian Market Art Installation, by artist Daya Bhatti bringing the sights and sounds of a vibrant market into the gallery space.

These free drop-in activities are open to all and a great opportunity for families to engage with creativity, culture, and the excitement of the Kabaddi World Cup.
