LEGO fans of all ages will be flocking to the Severn Valley Railway on 3 and 4 August, when the leading heritage line hosts a Brick Weekend, in partnership with LEGO UK Railway (LUKR).

LUKR is a cooperative of amateur fans of LEGO who build and exhibit stunning model railway displays. They’ll be installing a range of these at The Engine House, Highley where visitors will be able to marvel at the ingenious creations and get hands-on themselves to create their own versions.

The displays include an interactive haunted mansion and many different railway-themed models. Visitors will be able to test their wits on a classic inglenook wagon shunting puzzle, all built with LEGO bricks.

Richard Carter-Ulusoy, the chair of LEGO UK Railway said, ‘We’re looking forward to the Severn Valley Brick Weekend, which brings together some of the best LEGO railway builders in the UK, who love sharing their intricate designs with the public. LUKR are pleased to be able to support the SVR with our displays and activities for LEGO fans of all ages.’

Entry to The Engine House is included with the price of travel tickets, including both freedom-of-the-line and short journey tickets. The Brick Weekend event at The Engine House is open from 10.30am to 5pm on both days.
