Visit Greyfriars, a late-medieval House located in the heart of Worcester city centre this February half-term. Travel back in time and uncover untold stories as the National Trust property reopens for the season on Tuesday 18 February.

During the week, discover the untold story of Greyfriars final resident, Miss Matley Moore, in a self-guided exhibition in the House from Tuesday 18 - Friday 21 February. Find out more about the woman, artist, and 'local saviour', that once called Greyfriars home. Dress up in historic costume, have a go at puzzles, and spot animals hidden around the House in a knitted animal trail.

Later in the week, travel back to the Tudor period as part of the Living History Worcester weekend taking place on the 22 and 23 of February. Meet the Lyppett household of Tudor reenactors as they bring the past to life inside the House, and celebrate Valentine’s Day Tudor style. Have a go at making love spells and potions, write love letters with a scribe, and find out how to prepare for a Tudor wedding.

Living History Worcester is a weekend of multi-period living history at 6 city-centre sites including Greyfriars, Worcester’s Guildhall, Commandery, Tudor House, Cathedral Square and St Helen's Church. In partnership with the Worcester Reenactors.

Visit the Old Oak Café for hot and cold drinks, light lunches and cakes, and soak up the sunshine on the terrace or relax inside one of the historic rooms.

Enjoy the fresh air as you explore the walled garden, a peaceful oasis in the centre of the city, and look out for snowdrops and other signs of spring appearing.

Entry to the garden and café is free. For more information and opening times, please visit the website.
