This September, join KEMP Hospice Charity at a peaceful and poignant event to celebrate and remember loved ones. The KEMP Butterfly Release is an annual event where donors can dedicate a real butterfly to their loved one, and release it in the grounds of the stunning Bodenham Arboretum.
Each donation includes one butterfly which can be dedicated to a loved one, and their name will be added to the online Butterfly Memory Meadow. The donation will help support KEMP Hospice, and also includes one free entry to the arboretum for the event, so donors can release their butterfly on the day.
Additional tickets for entry can be purchased on the day at the entry of the Arboretum - but please note, these entry tickets do not include a butterfly to release.
The event will take place on Saturday 7th September 2024. If you’d like to donate and dedicate a butterfly, but you can’t make it on the day, the event organisers can release your butterfly for you.
The Butterfly Release event will be recorded, thanks to Kidderminster based DAP 23 and the video will be shared online as soon as possible after the event.
All donations will help to create a legacy for the Wyre Forest Hospice, ensuring they can continue to be there for the community with free care and support services, when they need us most. Whether in the day hospice, or through family support and bereavement services, the generosity of donors means the charity will continue to be by the side of patients, their family and loved ones.
The Rock Choir will also be accompanying the event with their beautiful music.
