A unique dining destination combining the vibrant flavours of Indian cuisine with the smoky allure of BBQ is now open in Bishop’s Cleeve.

Following a special launch event on Saturday 11 January, where the local community were invited to sample the menu, Jai Ho has opened its doors to the general public.

The new restaurant and bar on Sapphire Road offers a relaxed, neighbourhood eatery and bar experience, where guests can enjoy a casual atmosphere and a culinary offering featuring a variety of flavourful dishes. The menu, which includes craft beers and signature cocktails, provides a taste of Bombay in the heart of the Cotswolds.

Menu items include BBQ Masala Lamb Chops, Murgh Butter Masala, and Beef Biryani, with vegetarian options including Paneer Muttor and House Black Dhal Makhani. While sweet treats like Gulab Jamun with Salted Caramel Ice Cream round off the dining experience. Guests can also enjoy snacks like Pani Puri and small plates such as Wagyu Sheekh Kebab and Chilli Paneer.

The Bishops Cleeve venue is the latest addition to JM Socials’ portfolio, a hospitality group behind some of Cheltenham’s most celebrated dining destinations, including Prithvi, Bhoomi Kitchen, BAO + BBQ, Circo, and The Mayflower.

Known for its creativity and attention to detail, JM Socials offers diverse dining experiences that cater to a wide range of tastes and occasions. Jai Ho continues the group’s tradition of aiming to provide exceptional experiences for both locals and visitors.

Sharing his excitement on the opening, Jay Rahman, co-owner of JM Socials, said: “We’re thrilled to finally welcome guests to Jai Ho. This has been a labour of love, and we’re so proud to introduce a concept that not only offers incredible food but also creates a welcoming and relaxed environment for everyone to enjoy.”

He continued: “Jai Ho is a bold new addition to our portfolio, yet it carries forward the same attention to detail, innovation, and dedication to quality that defines the JM Socials experience.”
