Enjoy an evening of entertainment in beautiful historic gardens this summer, with a range of performances for all ages. Grab your picnic blanket, sit back, and relax as you enjoy the show as the sun sets over Hanbury Hall and Greyfriars House & Garden.

At Hanbury Hall, award-winning Illyria Theatre will return for four entertaining shows: a fun, family musical adaptation of ‘The Adventures of Doctor Dolittle’ on Saturday 27 July, a gripping performance of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ on Saturday 10 August, Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘The Gondoliers’ on Saturday 17 August, and an evening of mystery with ‘The Hound of the Baskervilles’ on Saturday 7 September.

Join a wide range of performances in the pretty walled garden at Greyfriars, tucked away in the heart of Worcester city centre. There is something for everybody to enjoy, including ‘Treasure Island’ and Oscar Wilde classic ‘An Ideal Husband’ performed by DOT Productions on Thursday 25 July and Friday 26 July, ‘Wilde about Oscar’ performed by Don’t Go Into The Cellar Theatre Company on Friday 2 August, P.G. Wodehouse’s ‘Stiff Upper Lip, Jeeves’ on Thursday 8 August, and ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ on Friday 16 August, both performed by Tethered Wits Theatre Company.

Bring your own picnic, or buy a range of hot and cold drinks, cakes, and ice creams from the Stables Café at Hanbury Hall, and the Old Oak Café at Greyfriars. These open-air performances offer a wonderful opportunity to experience both unique, historic settings afterhours during the summertime with family and friends.
