Worcestershire Open Studios, the well-loved annual event, returns 19–28 August.
The largest free art event in the county has more studios than ever taking part this year. 97 venues will showcase 128 artists with over 40 artists taking part for the first time.
Artists welcome you into their homes or studios for you to see behind the scenes into how they make their work. All studios are free to visit. There is a diverse range of artwork to see including painting, sculpture, printmaking, jewellery, ceramics, photography, textiles, woodworking and lots more.
Experience the joy of looking at local art, to see what’s happening in your area, to meet the vibrant and creative makers in the county. Learn and ask questions, see the tools and materials artists use, see demos and in some cases you may also have the chance to have a go. The artist's work will be on display with the chance to buy original art. Many artists will have prints, cards and gifts for sale too.
The event will run over ten days again this year, giving you more opportunity to visit the artists taking part. Check the individual artist's pages for their opening times as not all artists are open every day. You can also search for artists by name or artform.
A printed guide is now available to pick up from libraries, Tourist Information Centres and other venues around the county.
