A brand new exhibition is set to open at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum next month in tribute to Worcestershire motor-racing hero Peter Collins. 

Competing for the Formula One World Championship in motorsport’s most glamourous and dangerous era, the exhibition will look at how the Kidderminster-born motor enthusiast became the rising star in the Ferrari Formula One team and won the admiration of Enzo Ferrari.

The exhibition tells Peter’s remarkable story through original photographs and letters, and features touching personal items including his racing helmet and gloves.

Peter Collins, F1 Hero - Mustow Green to Nürburgring will be on display at Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum from Saturday 10 June 2023 until January 2024. Find out more at museumsworcestershire.org.uk.
