Oswestry is getting its first ever Pride event, with multiple events taking place throughout the town from 1-30 June.

Commenting on the debut event, organisers have said: "We are so delighted to present the first ever Oswestry Pride Event Programme for Pride Month 2024. The response from the town has been incredible, and we are so excited to celebrate LGBT+ art, culture, and history together with you this June. Whether you’re LGBT+ or an ally, Pride is for everyone, and that most definitely includes you."

Events include: a costume exhibition, Queer Joy of Food workshop, film screenings, spinning workshops, knitting workshops, poetry workshops, drag events and much more.
